Bix Events ("Bix", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through bixevents.com, our enquiry forms, bookings and event services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and company.
Event details, such as the date, venue, guest count, budget and the services you are interested in.
Booking and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Photos, videos and GIFs taken at our photo booths and events, and any email address or phone number a guest enters to receive them.
Website and device data, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and how you found us (for example, an ad or campaign link). This is collected through cookies and similar tools, as described below.

How we use it

To reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and plan and deliver your event.
To process bookings, payments and invoices.
To deliver photo booth images to you and your guests.
To improve our website and services.
To send occasional news or offers by email, only if you tick the box to receive them on one of our forms. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and sending us an enquiry never signs you up.

Event photos and videos

We may share selected photos and videos from events in our portfolio and on social media. If you would prefer that content from your event is not shared, tell us before your event or email us afterwards and we will remove it. Photo booth guests choose whether to enter an email address or phone number to receive their photos, and we use it only to deliver them.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business and with performers or venue partners where needed to deliver your event. Our website runs on Webflow, and enquiries may be stored in Google Workspace (including Google Sheets), our client management and email tools, and our scheduling tool for booked calls. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember the shows you favourite, understand how the site is used and measure our advertising. These tools may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel and the TikTok pixel. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer.

Storage and security

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect what we hold. Some of our service providers store data in the United States or elsewhere outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing, by contacting us. You can change your cookie choices at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer, or block cookies in your browser settings.
