From classical piano
to A.R. Rahman's stage.

An original Bix Events ballet, produced in-house.
- 01
It started with piano.
Long before Bix Events existed, there was a kid learning classical music, sitting in the audience at gold medal competitions, watching competitive artists chase perfection note by note and absorbing what it actually takes to move a room. That early education didn't stop at the keys. It grew into music mixing and mastering, into understanding sound not just as something you play, but something you shape.
- 02
Travel shaped the ear.
Curiosity kept pulling in the same direction. Every new city and every new stage added something to the ear: a different rhythm, a different way audiences respond to a moment being built in front of them. That restlessness led backstage at Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson show in Las Vegas, watching a world-class production construct emotion cue by cue. Not long after, the same instinct landed on the production side of A.R. Rahman's movie premiere launch, a stage with zero room for “good enough.”
- 03
One question.
Those experiences became the blueprint for everything after. When Bix Events started building entertainment experiences back home, the question was never “what's the package?” It was always “what does this room need to feel unforgettable?”
- 04
Trust, built through the work.
That question opened real doors. Fairmont recognised the work in a prestige publication distributed across its properties nationally, and WedLuxe published it too. Along the way came genuine relationships with some of Toronto's top wedding and corporate planners, built through the work, not a pitch deck. The corporate side grew the same way, with brands that don't hire on a whim: BMO, McCain Canada and Restaurants Canada.
- 05
Still learning.
The same hunger to keep learning has pushed into new territory: studying AI integration and AI-driven activations with top talent in the LA market, most recently around Y-Media's launch for Shang's single Drifters.
- 06
Shows of our own.
Then came the full-circle moment: building original productions of our own. As a lifelong Drake fan, ICEMAN, a show built around two teams colliding, was a natural place to start. The catalogue kept growing with an A.R. Rahman-inspired contemporary ballet, Le French Cabaret, an original Michael Jackson tribute and Latin vs. Bollywood, each one built alongside talent connected to Drake's “Nokia” music video and members of the Toronto Raptors dance pack. The kid who once watched gold medal competitions from the audience is now the one assembling the artists other people only get to watch.
- 07
Mixed and mastered.
That same production instinct shapes every wedding now, including some of the biggest couples' entrance experiences designed to date. Each one is mixed and mastered around a couple's story, never pulled off a shelf.
